Huh? How did they get this wrong? MyApologetics sets the record straight.

Huh? How did they get this? MyApologetics sets the record straight.

Apparently MyApologetics has been designated as “Christian Apologetics blog” by writers at Conservapedia.

Ref: from Conservapedia’s page on the Mythcon 2017 Conference.

The Christian apologetics blog My Apologetics wrote about the Thomas Smith vs. Carl Benjamin (Sargon of Akkad) exchange at the Mythcon 2017 Conference:

Unfortunately, this is not correct.  Readers should be aware that MyApologetics is not a religious “apologetics” blog of any description.  I have no formal training in theology and I do not find the subject particularly interesting.  I can point to people who are very good at this but it is not me.

Confusion may have occurred with an improper interpretation of the word “Apologetics”, which is a neutral term meaning the vigorous defence of a viewpoint.

Myapologetics is simply a blog of social commentary, world events and the occasional satire.  There is a heavier focus on Sri Lanka, politics,  and culture war issues from clear thinking viewpoint.

Editorial Comment:

I could go to Conservapedia, create a login an fix it but what would be the fun in that?
