Van Badham is ‘Hysterically’ Funny in her outrage at Steve Price

Van Badham is ‘Hysterically’ Funny in her outrage at Steve Price

Badham and Price shared a tense exchange over domestic violence.

The epicentre of elitist socialist snobbery  has to be the ABC television program called Q&A.  A panel program that has all the same characteristic of a Jerry Springer episode and still manages at times to have less class.  At least with Springer we knew that many of the guests were acting up for the camera, but with Q&A there is a clinical denial that the antics of its guests can be just as precociously infantile.

Let the Hysteria Begin

Take for instance the moment that made the collective audience gasp with horror in last week’s show.  Van Badham spent much of the episode attacking fellow panelist Steve Price insinuating that he is the type of person who enjoys telling violent jokes about women.   After several minutes of false accusation and refusals to apologise Price chastised Badham by saying:

“I think you’re just being hysterical.”

And the camera instantly cut to audience members who gasped in horror.

At this point, 99.9% of Australians would wonder what the whole fuss was about.

Never to miss an opportunity Van Badham instantly retorted as if she had never been so wounded in her life.

“It’s probably my ovaries making me do it, Steve.” she snarled back.

Thus begins an unholy outrage across the halls of left wing group think to defend and justify this Van Badham conflated outrage.

Seriously, the headline story for The Age Newspaper’s online edition was all about how Steve Price had offended women by using the term ‘Hysterical’.

“Q&A recap: Steve Price’s ‘hysterical’ insult prompts a mic drop from Van Badham”

Writes Andrew P Street of The Age.   Later he follows up his grand scoop with an editorial called:

“Time for new voices: Why Steve Price’s tired schtick is getting very, very old”

Apparently using the word ‘hysterical’ is to feminists is the moral equivalent of giving a Nazi salute to Jews.  In Andrew P Street’s this how he wanted to spin this story. He also hinted heavily that Steve Price should be sacked.

Of course, the mental sewer known as Twitter followed its instinct and decided to roast Steve Price in its almighty outrage.

According to the online feminist magazine Mamamia the Twitter hashtag #myovariesmademe is “sending a powerful message to Steve Price”.  I am not sure what they mean by a powerful message but from what I have read it was just the usual 3rd Wave Feminist cry-fest.  Every cliche response that you would expect from a radical feminist clique was being repeated. Including the “Ovaries” and “Drop the Mic”.

Like a lynch mob with nothing to do there is now a hashtage called #sacksteveprice.  Guess what they want?

Currently there is an online petition with Change.org to “Remove Steve Price from The Project” television program where he works.  So far they have gather 4200 virtual signatures.

Steve Price goes on The Project to defend his controversial appearance on Q&A;.

Steve Price

On a part time basis Steve Price works for the Ten Network on a current affairs program called The Project. It is a much more light hearted panel based program headed by the renowned and controversial Waleed Ali.  On the day after appearing on Q&A Steve had to face intense questioning from the panel of The Project about the incident.  Steve was unapologetic about the words he had chosen to on the Q&A program stating that he would use the same word even if he was addressing a male guest who was behaving as Van Badham had behaved. However, Waleed Ali tried up the level of outrage when tried to link the word ‘hysteria’ with ‘patriarchal oppression of women’ for thousands of years.  Yes the Gold Logie winner and Muslim apologist, Ali played the patriarchy card.

Here is a sample of Waleed’s condescending brain spurts:

According to Ali ‘Hysteria’ has a Latin route meaning ‘Womb’.

So therefore:

“Using that word to describe me would be different, because for 4000 years women were described as hysterical as a way of trying to say they were irrational, incapable of being reasonable because they had ovaries,”

Of course, if we used Waleed Ali’s standards then we would have to abolish a whole collection of words due to their historic routes.

‘Synister’ for example means ‘left-handeded’ and therefore anyone who uses it is worse than Hitler.

As for oppressing women for 4000 years with just one word? I am surprised that Steve Price did not tell Waleed that is so full it.

Waleed must have been Googling all night to make that wacky connection.

Reality Check for Van Demon Badham

If Van Badham was some shinking violet who had never heard a terrible word in her life then you could almost forgive he phoney outrage.  Yet this is the kind of hypocrit that undermines her own case.

Just a few quotes from our faint feminista called Van Badham:

You need to kiss my arse: I’m not a f–king liberal: I AM A COMMUNIST.

YOU STUPID CAREERIST F–KING SELF SERVING S–TTIPEDES YOU ARSEHOLE KNOB GREASER S–TBUCKET C–T FARM C–T C–TS

I’m just expressing my right to free speech.

I don’t want Australia to be a crap place run by corrupt rich pricks who treat the people with disdain. Am I weird?

WHY ARE YOU REWARDING THE C–T THAT CAUSED ALL THESE F–KING PROBLEMS YOU F–KING IDIOTS

Toughen the F–k Up.

These are the people marching, Australian right: the diversity of decent, dignified Australia.

Every time I look at Senator Wong I think – “that’s the leader we need”. Every time.

YOU F–KING ARSEHOLES YOU STUPID PACK OF C–T ARSEHOLE S–TS YOU F–KS YOU MOTHERF–KER DIMB C–T WANK F–K S–TS

Tony ABBOTT is the friggin’ PRIME MINISTER. What the actual f–k. I mean…

They all sicken me. Neoconservatism is just personal sadism with ideological nomenclature.

What’s left to enjoy after we’ve mined, chopped, poisoned, killed & ruined everything? Hatesex & wanking over a mound of broken iPods?

YOU S–THEAD RUBBERC–KED DICK-CICADAS YOU DIMB RAT MAGGOT F–KING LUNATICS THERE IS A COUNTRY OUTSIDE THE F–KING C–TIBG CAUCUS

Our advantage is that empathetic people are more likeable and personable. We CAN turn this around.

Greg Hunt is an insult to the word “c–t”.

LET ME AT THEM YLEY ME INTO THAT F–KING CAUCUS ROOM TO KICK THE MOTHERF–KING S–T OUT OF THE DUMB C–TRAGS IN THERE

Unions are great. I’m a member of two.

The right are overwhelmingly loons, racists or mouthbreathers.

HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MOTHERF–KING MINDS YOU STUPID SUITED NITWIT WANKBRAINED SLIT SMUGGLING C–KCHEESES

This isn’t a meltdown, you sub-idiotic cave-worm: it’s ignition.

Climate change deniers capturing policy agendas COULD KILL US ALL. These are the stakes of the debate.

I WILL TWEET WITH MY MIND

Tony Abbott is living proof that if you are a lying, sexist c–t with powerful vested interests cleaning up after you, you can be a Liberal.

What a bunch of overprivileged little asshats.

I go to Vienna tomorrow and then Milan by train on Monday.

I am a thirty-something woman with no desire to mother a parasite.

I am an anarchist!

I vote Green.

The above quotes were collated by columnist Tim Blair on April 23, 2014.

Clearly, if Van Badham was to be held to the same standard that she demands that Steve Price be held, then she would have been sacked years ago.

Meanwhile it seems that false moral outrage is a two edged sword. Currently, Van is reading out the all the nasty comments she has received on Twitter since her Q&A appearance.  I think I saw this situation in comedy show.

Editorial Comment:

I think that people are getting a bit tired of the hysterical outrage when some uses a word that has been declared evil by some closed group of activists.

Yes, I did use the  word ‘hysterical’.

Or as Badham says: “Toughen the F–k Up.”
